Hey mentees! Here’s what’s happening
Good morning and welcome to Week 6 of college! We hope that your midterms went well, or if you are like us, you ace them this week! Halloween was a blast, as we are sure most of you are recovering this week. BTW, it is time to start thinking about class schedules and meeting with your first-year advisors!

Resource Highlight
CHC Class Registration
With class options coming out on Halloween, class scheduling time is in full swing! Duckweb has updated the registration dashboard, so please take some time to explore and familiarize yourself with it before your scheduled time; the video above is a good resource! Try out the ‘Plan Ahead’ feature to start building potential schedules to help you feel less stressed during your registration. Make sure to make an appointment with an advisor from your major or your first-year CHC advisor to check in about scheduling your classes or if you need any help or clarity. New classes have been added to the honors course offerings - HC 199H has two potential one-credit classes to help your own personal growth! Find the Winter 2026 Honors College course descriptions in the link below.
Additional Open Hours with CHC Advisors: Dr. Rovak and Dr. Raisanen will be holding Open Hours on the day of registration for any last minute help or advising during the registration period. Stop by Room 127 from 10 AM to 1 PM for help!

Unfortunately, we were not able to reschedule our hike at Spencer’s Butte. We appreciate everyone who was interested and we apologize for being unable to proceed. We hope you continue to attend our upcoming events! For now, stop in at our Open Hours on Fridays 10-2 Week 6 and Week 7 to get help on managing the new schedule builder, registration site, and help with navigating the CHC curriculum!

Registration for CHC students begins Week 8 on Monday, November 17. Sophomore registration begins at 11 AM and freshman registration is at 12 PM.
Grab your ticket for the last home game of the season on November 14 against Minnesota; tickets open this weekend.
